In the United States, an estimated 10,000 cases of Toxocara infections occur yearly in humans. Toxocariasis is a cause of blindness in small children! Toxocariasis is passed through the feces of dogs. Small children are especially at risk.
Reason: Your dogs feces is meat based. This will attract rats, opossums, racoons and other nasty critters. This is dangerous to your dog and people trying to enjoy their yard.
